Eva is a British actress from Lancashire and familiar face on our screens. She is well known for her roles in many popular TV shows, playing leads in 'Coronation Street' and 'Peak Practice' in the 90’s and then continuing to flourish in repeating dramas, such as 'Waterloo Road’ and 'Hetty Feather'. Both 'Waterloo Road' and 'Peak Practice' won her Best Actress nominations at the Nation Television Awards and she played the lead role in the 1998 Oscar nominated short film 'Holiday Romance'.

In 2022 she appeared in Channel 4's darkly comic drama 'Somewhere Boy' about an 18 year old who has spent his life imprisoned in his own home after his mother died in a car crash when he was little, so his father could protect him from 'monsters' in the outside world.  Eva played indiscreet family friend, Angie.

Her extensive TV credits also include 'Silent Witness', 'New Tricks', 'Law & Order UK', 'Spooks' & 'Bad Girls', as well as the recent BBC comedy series 'Spent.

Throwing her hand into acting/producing, Eva won Best Actress at the Accolade Global Film Awards, USA, for her 2015 short film 'Route Canal’. Another Best Actress nomination followed for her film 'The Interrogation Of Olivia Donavan' at the California Women’s Film Festival in 2017.

Eva has co-led many television dramas throughout the last 30 years, alongside great British actors such as John Simm, Gemma Whelan, Ray Winstone, Sarah Lancashire, David Threlfall, Jenna Coleman, Suranne Jones and Philip Glenister.

For Eva, theatre is her true home. In 2018 she played alongside Sharon Small in the critically acclaimed 'Still Alice', the story of a successful American woman who develops early-onset dementia. She played the pivotal role of ‘Herself’, Alice’s inner voice. It was a powerful and successful UK No1 Tour. There will be more theatre in the pipeline this year.

An experienced narrator, Eva is often heard on Raymond Blanc’s 'Kitchen Secrets' on a Saturday morning. She has narrated many documentaries and recently a number of audiobooks, including a new release for Harper Collins in 2021 of 'Sense and Sensibility’, 'Gentleman Jack’ for Audible and 'This Is Not A Drill' for Penguin.

She has a native soft Wigan/Lancashire accent and uses a neutral RP accent in much of her work. She can easily strengthen or neutralise her Wigan accent and turn her hand to other Northern accents such as Liverpool and Manchester, as well as London and standard American.
