Evanna Lynch is to star in the "twisting and darkly comic" thriller 'Under the Black Rock' at London's Arcola Theatre. The play, which is set in Belfast at the height of the Troubles, will have its world premiere when it opens on 2nd March. The new play is written by new playwright Tim Edge and will be directed by Ben Kavanagh.
Evanna plays Niamh Ryan who is drawn into the conflict as part of a divided family, in a community where no one is quite who they seem to be. The write-up for the show says "Under The Black Rock serves as a warning from history: this is where we have come from and to where we must never return".
