The BBC and SISTER Productions have released the first images of their new dark comedy drama 'The Following Events are Based on a Pack of Lies'. The 5-part series isn't due on our screens until 2023 but we already know plenty about the exciting new drama.
It follows two very different women, Alice and Cheryl, who only have one thing in common - being taken for a ride by professional conman Dr. Rob Chance who is played by Alistair Petrie (Sex Education, The Night Manager). Dr. Chance claims to be a successful ecopreneur but when the two women realise they are being conned they team up to try and take him down and carry out the ultimate con.
Karl Johnson will also star in the series as Alice's father Bill.
