Paddy Wallace to feature in ITV's exciting remake of The Ipcress File due for release in March

Northern actor Paddy Wallace will play the role of a police constable in the new 6 episode series.  The Ipcress File is set during the Cold War and is based on the novel of the same name by Len Deighton following the life of British Army Sergeant, Harry Palmer who becomes a British spy.  This will be the second time the novel has been adapted for screen. The previous version was the 1962 feature film starring Michael Caine, which won a BAFTA. 

ITV's new version is set for release in March and will star Joe Cole as Harry Palmer, alongside Tom Hollander and Lucy Boynton.
