Northern actor Paddy appeared in ITV's 2022 6-part thriller ‘The Ipcress File’, based on the classic spy novel and 1965 movie of the same name. He is known best for his regular role of Jude Appleton, on ‘Coronation Street’. In 2022 he played Jeff, a CID officer in the Netflix thriller 'I Came By' alongside Hugh Bonneville and Kelly MacDonald.
Other notable TV credits include ‘Father Brown’ (BBC), ‘Outlander’ (Amazon Prime) and ‘Game of Thrones’ (HBO/Sky). He has also appeared in some of the UK’s best loved TV shows including ‘Emmerdale’, ‘Doctors’ and ‘Waterloo Road’.
Feature film appearances include action-adventure movie ‘Survivor’, alongside Pierce Brosnan, and the multiple award-winning historical thriller ‘The Last Witness’ which won Best Feature Film at the London Independent Film Awards.
Radio credits include ‘Red and Blue: Behind Enemy Lines’ and ‘Dear Mr Spectator’ both for the BBC. He also features in the ‘Dr Who’ audio series.
Paddy is from Chester and his native accent is general Northern. He has a talent for accents & he is particularly comfortable with other Northern accents; Manchester, Wirral, Liverpool, Leeds/Yorkshire. He's experienced in Northern & Southern Irish, Scottish & for American; general, Southern States & East Coast. Invariably he has used each of these accents on screen or stage.
