Freddy Carter plays Benjamin Stableforth in the Death in Paradise Christmas Special, which will be shown on BBC One on Boxing Day at 9pm.
His character is the son of a wealthy family who are holidaying in Sainte Marie. When his businessman father is found dead at the bottom of a ravine the alarm is raised over the circumstances of his death. It could be just an accident, but his final words "It's behind you" suggest something more is going on.
Freddy guest stars alongside Patsy Kensit who plays his mum Bella and Amelia Clarkson who plays his sister Mariana.
