Champion, the highly anticipated debut TV project from bestselling author Candice Carty-Williams premieres on BBC One on Saturday night. The 8-part musical drama follows siblings Vita and Bosco Champion as they face a brand new rivalry with one another that spans their professional and personal lives.
Déja J Bowens stars as Vita Champion and Malcolm Kamulete as Bosco Champion.
Genesis Lynea plays Tayo, a tailor and one of Vita Champion's good friends who is dating Vita's manager Yemi. Although level-headed and a bit goofy, she dreams of being a successful tailor and household name in the fashion world, and is a voice of reason for Vita.
Champion begins Saturday 1st July at 9.15pm on BBC One, with all episodes then available immediately on BBC iPlayer.
