House of the Dragon UK release date has been confirmed as Monday 22nd August on Sky Atlantic and NOW

House of the Dragon is the much anticipated prequel to Game of Thrones which will premiere on Sky Atlantic and NOW on Monday 22nd August.   Fans are delighted that a first look teaser trailer has been released giving us a glimpse of the main cast, including Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen, Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower, the Hand of the King.

Thom Ashley is playing Brett Lannister and Arty Froushan will play Qarl Correy in the series, but we will have to wait until release to find out more about either character.

The series is set 200-300 years before Game of Thrones and it is thought that we'll find out about the history of the Lannisters, Targaryens and Baratheons as the history of Westeros is explored.  The Targaryen Civil War will be its main focal point.

Thom Ashley and Arty Froushan are available for voiceovers from Anthea Represents.  Click their images for their profile pages and voiceover showreels.
