Gritty new thriller 'I, Jack Wright', from the writer of Unforgotten, starts tonight at 9pm on U&Alibi.
The 6-parter sees John Simm starring as Gray Wright, eldest son of powerful businessman Jack Wright (Trevor Eve) who is found dead from apparent suicide. The patriarch's sudden death sends shockwaves through his family. However their grief soon turns to anger when the will reading reveals that he has cut his wife and two adult sons out of his will....and so begins the mother of all feuds. Meanwhile as the police delve delve further into the case, they realise Jack’s cause of death was in fact murder.
Zoë Tapper also stars in the show as Georgia Wright, the wife of youngest son John Wright (Daniel Rigby). In a recent interview Zoë described her character as "mercurial and vicious, and she's really high maintenance, and she's all about what she looks like, and she's just delicious. I absolutely loved her as soon as I read her on the page, and some of her one-liners are just absolute gold."
