Mancunian comedian Josh Jones has announced he is joining the line-up for the next series of Dancing on Ice which skates-off in early 2025.
He announced his participation on Instagram and in a radio interview on Gaydio saying "I've not got any skating experience whatsoever. I did it once for a date years ago, and I wasn't very good. I was holding onto the railings the entire time, and we aren't together now." He continued "My dancing isn't great either. For a gay man, I have no rhythm. I struggle to clap along to a beat, so this will be fun".
He joins a stellar line-up for the iconic ITV show which includes Olympic gold medallist rower Sir Steve Redgrave, actress Charlie Brooks (better known as Janine in Eastenders) and Britain's most successful Paralympian, Dame Sarah Storey.
One of the first to comment was one of the show's judges Oti Mabuse, who wrote under his Instagram post: 'This is great, welcome Josh! Can't wait to see this!'
