A big budget TV version of the video game franchise Halo premieres in the US on Paramount Plus tonight, Thursday 24th March. The 9-episode military sci-fi series is set in the 26th Century where an alien threat known as the Covenant threatens the existence of humanity. The series has been inspired by the video game franchise but exists as a standalone story.
Karl Johnson will play the role of 'Truth', one of the main antagonists in both the Halo 2 and Halo 3 video game.
Halo is currently only available to Paramount Plus subscribers in the US, however that service is due to arrive on Sky in the next few months, enabling British viewers to catch this spic new action adventure series. In the meantime you can watch the official trailer here.
