'Mammals' is a new 6-part comedy drama written by two-time Olivier and Tony Award-winning Jez Butterworth and starring James Corden. The darkly comic series follows Jamie (played by Corden), a Michelin star chef who discovers shocking secrets about his pregnant wife.
The show's synopsis reads "In a world of eight billion, what happens after we've found 'the one'? Can we stay true to the promises we strive to keep when, after all, aren't we all just Mammals?"
Karl Johnson will play 'Mr Lewis' in the series but as yet we know nothing about his role. Jez Butterworth has given away very little about the series and characters, even saying when pressed, "I'd love to be able to reveal more, but if I took you more than about six minutes into it, I would ruin the series. Everything that happens after the first six minutes is a spoiler."
Mammals will be available on Prime Video from Friday 11th November. Watch the trailer now.
Welsh born Karl Johnson is known for roles in 'Dream Horse', 'Hot Fuzz' and 'Too Close'. He is available for voiceovers from Anthea Represents. Click his image for his profile page and voiceover showreel.
