Kieran Bew will star in the second series of HBO's House of the Dragon which has had a release date of 17th June 2024 announced.
He will play 'Hugh Hammer' in the new 8-part series of the fantasy drama, which will be released in the UK on Sky Atlantic. In the official synopsis he is described as "a blacksmith's bastard of Valyrian descent who becomes a dragon rider."
House of the Dragon is the Golden Globe winning prequel to Game of Thrones. The series is set 200-300 years before Game of Thrones and tells the history of the Lannisters, Targaryens and Baratheons as the history of Westeros is explored. The Targaryen Civil War is the main focal point.
