Maimie McCoy is back as Inspector Lucienne Hassell in series 3 of Amsterdam-based crime drama 'Van Der Valk'. She returns as Piet Van Der Valk's trusted confidante who is described as "calm amid a storm, centred, down to earth".
The new series will see 3 brand new episodes, the first of which 'Freedom in Amsterdam' will air this Sunday night at 8pm on ITV. The episode will see the team immediately plunged into an investigation following the dramatic shooting of an idealistic Freerunning champion, which draws them into the murky world of drug smuggling before revealing a deeper, darker personal tale of envy.
Marc Warren also reprises his role as the sharp and instinctive detective Piet Van Der Valk.
