The long-awaited Ridley Scott epic 'Napoleon' is out in cinemas from today, Wednesday 22nd November.
The film stars stars Joaquim Phoenix as Napoleon and Vanessa Kirby as Josephine. It depicts the Emperor's rise to power as well as his relationship with his true love Empress Josephine. Ben Miles and Rupert Everett also star, with the latter portraying British military hero The Duke of Wellington, who defeated Napoleon at the Battle of Waterloo.
Thom Ashley has a featured role playing La Bédoyère, who was one of Napoleon's most loyal military Generals.
Reviews of the film have been positive with The Guardian giving it 5 stars and calling it "a thrilling biopic". The BBC rated it 4 stars describing it as "a proper, old-fashioned historical epic" and "an awe-inspiring achievement".
Napoleon is released in cinemas nationwide from today, and will be released on Apple TV+ at a later date.
