The World's number 1 alpine comedy festival is taking place all this week in the picturesque town of Mayrhofen in the Austrian Alps. Altitude Festival has been running since 2007 and has established itself as one of the top comedy festivals in the world, attracting some of the funniest comedians from around the globe. It has won multiple awards including Best Overseas Festival and Comedy Festival of the Year.
Our very own Nina Gilligan is making her Altitude Festival debut this week.
Previously Altitude has seen comedians such as Eddie Izzard, Bill Bailey, Jimmy Carr and Katherine Ryan grace the stage, with Dara O'Brien headlining at this year's event which runs from 1st-5th April.
