Nina is a writer, actress and comedian who, in 2021, was the winner of the prestigious Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Award.  The awards are part of the annual Leicester Comedy Festival and recognise the best comedians on the stand-up circuit as nominated by promoters.  Previous winners have included Johnny Vegas, Greg Davies, Jason Manford and Rhodd Gilbert.  Also in 2021 she performed her show 'Late Developer' at the Manchester's Women in Comedy Festival and she also performed at the Chester Comedy Festival.

She trained as an actress at the prestigious Royal Scottish Academy Of Music and Drama (now The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) and is a skilled improvisor. She emerged onto the comedy scene in 2011. Since then Nina has been nominated for various competitions including being a semi-finalist in the 2015 Amused Moose Awards, as well as a finalist in Hilarity Bites 2013 and in the 2016 English Comedian of the Year Awards at Udderbelly, South Bank.  In 2013 she won the Liverpool Hot Water Comedian of the Year.

Nina made her Edinburgh Festival debut in 2014 performing her stand-up show 'Gilligan's Island', returning in 2019 with another hit show 'Broad Shoulders'.  In 2018 she wrote and performed her first comedy play 'Rescued' at the Manchester Fringe Festival which was nominated for Best Comedy Play and earned her a nomination for Best Newcomer.

She is a regular on the UK stand-up circuit, performing her outrageous, observational, storytelling comedy. She has been described as "Jonny Vegas meets Joan Rivers" and "a naturally funny comedian with a charming and genuinely likeable style", and The Skinny called her "a bolshier Mrs Merton...she's not one to suffer fools lightly so watch out for a razor-sharp wit used at will".  She has appeared regularly on radio including Radio 4 (including Woman's Hour), BBC Radio 5 Live as well as Sky News. She had her own show called 'Gilligan's Island' on Fab Radio International where she interviewed comedians about their comedy icons.

She is the co-founder eradicating sexual harassment in the live comedy circuit.

Nina is from Salford in Manchester and has a native warm East Manchester accent.
