North-West comedian Nina Gilligan plays Jo in Radio 4's new semi-improvised comedy series 'Where To, Mate?' which begins tonight, 1st March, at 11pm.
The 3-part series follows 3 taxi drivers, Ben, Bernie and Saj, on their journeys around the North West. In tonight's episode Bernie picks up a couple on their way to the airport and Ben picks up a guy who doesn't want to go to a job interview.
Nina said on her recent Instagram post "I can't tell you how happy I was to be part of this...a bloody dream...it's full of brilliant northern talent."
A new episode will be released each Wednesday at 11pm, and each new episode will be available afterwards on BBC Sounds.
