Wicked Little Letters, starring Olivia Colman and Jessie Buckley will be released into cinemas on 23rd February 2024. The highly anticipated British comedy is based on a true story which scandalised the British public in the 1920s and is set in the quaint seaside town of Littlehampton.
Colman and Buckley play acrimonious neighbours Edith Swan and Rose Gooding respectively. When a series of obscene letters are delivered to Edith, suspicion immediately falls on Rose.
Paul Chahidi also stars, playing Chief Constable Spedding, who along with his colleague Constable Paperwick (played by Hugh Skinner) bumble their way through the case, determined to pin the blame on Rose, despite evidence to the contrary. Luckily female police officer Gladys Moss, along with a group of other women, are determined to find the true culprit.
