Paul Chahidi will play Boris Johnson in ‘Pandemonium’, a new satirical comedy which debuts at London's Soho Theatre on 1st December

Alan Partridge, The Thick of It and Veep creator Armando Iannucci's new play 'Pandemonium' will debut at the Soho Theatre on Friday 1st December. 

It stars Paul Chahidi as Boris Johnson and is described as "A Scornful Account of the Activities of Mr Boris Johnson and ‘Others' during the Pandemic and its Aftermath."

The official synopsis says it will "portray the Johnson-Truss-Sunak years at a furious pace in all their horrible glory. Relive the horror! The Mess! The Murk! The lying about the lies!  It’s one big dodgy party. Bring a suitcase".

The play is directed by award-winning writer and director Patrick Marber who recently directed Tom Stoppard's Broadway play 'Leopoldstadt' for which he won a Tony Award for Best Direction.
