Rachel Fairburn starts her UK tour tomorrow night at Newcastle's The Stand Comedy Club

Rachel Fairburn's UK tour begins tomorrow night at The Stand Comedy Club in Newcastle.  The nationwide tour will cover 14 different cities including London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Brighton and Nottingham.

The show, entitled 'Can I Be Awful', received 5 star reviews at last year's Edinburgh Festival and featured in ‘Best Jokes from the Edinburgh Fringe’ in The Times.  Reviewers have described the show as "wickedly hilarious" (Broadway World), "quick, sharp, biting comedy at its finest" (North West End) and "a fast paced, hysterical show with a strong theme and comedy genius at the helm.  Can I Be Awful? is bloody brilliant!" (North West End).

The show's billing reads, "Rachel is sick of being told to "be kind" by everyone from bearded hipster men in T-shirts. What's wrong with saying it how you see it? What really is kindness? Why is Rachel's truth not respected? Why are you all so annoying? Probably because nobody tells you that you are. Let Rachel change that".
