Richard Harrington stars in 'The Unseen' which premieres tonight, Friday 15th November, at Hammersmith's Riverside Theatre.

The harrowing play is written by Craig Wright (Six Feet Under, Lost, Dirty Sexy Money) and will run until Saturday 14th December.

Richard plays Wallace, one of two men imprisoned by a totalitarian regime, who befriend each other through their cell wall.  The two men find solace in one another as they create their own philosophies in an attempt to assign meaning to their state of confinement.  The play also focuses on their torturer who finds himself torn between his duty and his own self-revulsion at his actions.

The official synopsis reads "Craig Wright's The Unseen exposes the isolation, guilt, and dehumanising effects of totalitarian repression in a thought-provoking drama reminiscent of Waiting For Godot.".

The play will coincide with the UK premiere of the acclaimed photography exhibition, 'Faces of Russian Resistance' which focuses on ordinary Russian citizens who oppose the Putin regime and paid for it with their freedom.
