Robert Webb is to return to Channel 4 alongside David Mitchell in a brand new yet-to-be-named sketch show

Channel 4 has announced that they have commissioned a brand new 6-part sketch show from comedy legends Robert Webb and David Mitchell.  News of the currently un-named show was made at the channel's season launch showcase yesterday.

The pair will return to the channel that launched their careers back in 2003 with Peep Show, which is the longest-running sitcom in Channel 4 history and ran until 2015. It remains one of Channel 4's best performing comedy shows on streaming.

They will be joined by a new generation of performers and writers such as Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Lara Ricote, Stevie Martin and Krystal Evans.

The comedy duo said "When Channel 4 asked us to do another sketch show we were startled, bemused and available...We’re looking forward to working with our brilliant new cast despite their youth and talent and would like to encourage viewers to watch the advert break carefully and do their best to buy something. It doesn’t have to be a car but, you know, a box of chocolates or an app or something."

Robert Webb is available for voiceovers from Anthea Represents. Click his image for his profile page and voiceover showreel.
