Saffron Coomber has been nominated for Best Actress at the Nevermore Film Festival for her starring role in horror short, 'Viral'

Viral has been selected for the Nevermore Film Festival in North Carolina and will be shown as part of their '3 Minutes to Midnight' programme in the virtual festival which will run from 25th February-3rd March.  Saffron stars as online activist J1NX who goes missing after trying to uncover the truth about a mysterious virus which was covered up and violently contained by the government.  Sutara Gayle stars alongside her. 

Viral has been nominated for 3 awards at the Festival including a nomination of Best Actress for Saffron in her first film in the horror genre.  The film also received nominations for Best Editing and Best Long Form Narrative.  

The 35 minute short horror film from the Original Theatre Company was directed by Tristan Shepherd and was shot entirely on iPhones in South East London during last year's lockdown.
