'The Reckoning', the much-talked-about BBC dramatisation of the events surrounding the rise to fame of Jimmy Savile, premieres on BBC One tonight. The 4-part drama sees Steve Coogan star as the disgraced TV presenter and tells the story of how he rose from his working class roots to TV stardom, to become one of Britain's most prolific celebrities, whilst keeping his terrible sexual abuse crimes concealed until after his death.
In the first episode, which will be shown at 9pm tonight, Monday 9th October, on BBC One, we see him take advantage of two young girls who he meets whilst DJing in a nightclub, one of whom is sensitively portrayed by Isabella Pappas.
Faye McKeever has a recurring role in the series, playing Top of the Pops producer Alison.
