Isabella made her stage debut aged 11 in ‘The Nether’ at the Royal Court Theatre and its West End transfer to the Duke of York's Theatre. This role earned her a nomination for 'Best Supporting Actress' at the 2015 Laurence Olivier Awards with The Huffington Post declaring ‘...special mention must go to Isabella Pappas, she gave one of the most impressive performances that I have seen on stage this year.’ She also earned a WhatsOnStage Award Nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 2020 for her role in ‘Appropriate’ at The Donmar.

In 2023/2024 she stars in the West End's huge new Sonia Friedman production 'Stranger Things: The First Shadow', directed by Stephen Daldry.  The show, billed by The Telegraph as "the West End event of the year" is a prequel to the Netflix TV series, set in 1959 when the characters are still at High School. She stars as Joyce Maldonado (played by Winona Ryder in the TV show). The "breathtaking" and "spectacular" show won the Olivier Award for Best New Play in 2024, as well as the same accolade in the WhatsOnStage Awards.

Recently she has been playing the lead in the Disney live action comedy show 'The Villians of Valley View', starring as teenage supervillain 'Havoc' who has to move with her family to Texas and reinvent herself as 'Amy' a normal teenage girl. The show is currently on its second series.

Also in 2023 she had a role in the BBC One dramatisation of the events surrounding the rise to fame of Jimmy Savile in 'The Reckoning', sensitively portraying one of his early victims.  In 2021 she starred as Charlotte in six-part ITV drama ‘Finding Alice’, opposite Keeley Hawes and Joanna Lumley

She is an accomplished singer and musician and was awarded British Theatre Academy Singer of the Year in 2019. Aged 13 she starred as Annie in the UK Tour alongside Craig Revel Harwood, she starred as Lucy in 13 The Musical in 2018 at Cornwall's stunning Minack Theatre and as Skylar in Bring It On at Southwark Playhouse.

Other major TV credits include Netflix/ITV's crime drama series ‘Paranoid’ and Channel 4’s comedy series ‘Home’.

Isabella's natural accent flips between Neutral English & Mid Atlantic/American. Italian was her first language having grown up in Italy and she has a neutral Italian accent.  With international schooling she picked up her Mid Atlantic/American accent and she is also a self taught Spanish speaker.
