The 2024 BBC New Comedy Awards start tonight on BBC Three, with the first heat (The Midlands) taking place in Leicester.
Sharon Wanjohi will be performing hoping to win a place in the finals of the coveted award which this year sees Babatunde Aléshé as head judge.
