BBC One's crime drama series Sherwood has been nominated for Best Drama Series at this year's Royal Television Society Awards.
The drama, set in a Nottinghamshire mining village, starred David Morrissey as Detective Chief Superintendent Ian St Clair and Claire Rushbrook as Cathy Rowley, sister in law to one of the victims.
The series was inspired by two real life murders in 2004 and follows two police officers - one from the local force and one from the Met Police - who try to solve the murders and uncover a link.
Sherwood is up against The Responder (also BBC) and Top Boy (Netflix).
The Awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday 28th March at the Grosvenor House Hotel. See the full list of nominees.
