Steffan Cennydd stars as Isaac in a new production of Pulitzer and Tony-nominee Taylor Mac's comedy 'Hir', which opens tonight at London's Park Theatre.

The play is a dysfunctional family drama for our time.  When Isaac, the prodigal son, returns from a war zone he discovers his family home has been transformed by a domestic revolution. His domineering & abusive father has had a stroke and his mother Paige has revolted against everything his father stood for. Meanwhile his sister Maxine is injecting testosterone to transition to Max. Max goes by the pronouns “hir” instead of her or him.  Paige is on a crusade to tear apart the old regime, but as they all soon realise, annihilating the past doesn’t always free you from it.

The play also stars Emmy & Golden Globe winning Felicity Huffman as Paige.
