Bestselling fantasy novel 'Children of Blood and Bone' is to be turned into a major new feature film for Paramount Pictures.  Casting has just been announced and sees Tosin Cole playing one of the leads.  He will star as Tzain alongside Thuso Mbedu who will play his younger sister Zelie.

The siblings live in a fantasy African kingdom and together they embark on a quest to reclaim the magic that was violently stolen from their people by the ruthless King Saran. The story sees the pair form an alliance with the king’s son and daughter to fight back against his brutal rule.

The film is scheduled for release in IMAX in early 2027.

The series of 3 novels, written by Tomi Adeyemi, of which this is the first, has sold almost three million copies worldwide and garnered critical acclaim, with 'Children of Blood and Bone' being featured as a Top 100 Fantasy Books of All Time; a New York Times Notable Children’s Book; and a Kirkus Prize Finalist, among other distinctions.

Tosin Cole is available for voiceovers from Anthea Represents.  Click his image for his profile page and voiceover showreel.
