Sutara Gayle has premiered her debut solo show as a writer-performer at Brixton House.  The one-woman show which is described as 'an epic voyage of discovery' runs until 30th September.

With high octane musical numbers and a virtuoso solo performance, The Legends of Them is a unique theatrical experience brought to you by connoisseurs of experimental entertainment, Hackney Showroom.

Reviews of the show have been full of praise for Sutara's incredible performance with Afridiziak (★★★★★) saying Sutara is "brimming with effortless charisma, craft, power… and touching vulnerability."  Everything Theatre (★★★★) calls it "original, unique and entertaining" whilst The Stage (★★★★) commented that "many in the audience stayed seated in the darkness, to catch their breath. This is theatre so agonisingly true that it takes your heart and twists it."  And The Reviews Hub (★★★★★) summarises it as "an immensely personal journey, it is one we feel privileged to share."

Sutara is also known as the award-winning, internationally acclaimed reggae artist Lorna Gee.
