Sutara Gayle stars as Mike's well-meaning mum Betty in the Ghosts Christmas Special, on Christmas Day at 7.45pm on BBC One. In the episode we see her staying at Button House to supposedly help look after Mike and Alison's new baby, but they are beginning to lose patience with her interfering ways. So with Button House feeling fuller than ever the couple recruit the Ghosts to start Operation Bye Bye Betty!
It's a role she's played before, making an appearance in the 2020 Christmas Special too.
This is the final ever episode of the popular paranormal comedy series, which saw the final season (season 5) finish earlier this year.
