British-Jamaican actress Sutara stars in a recurring role as Gloria Mason-Walker, as Gran to the newest member of the Lyle Centre team, Dr Simone Tyler (played by Genesis Lynea). Viewers witness the close relationship between the mum and daughter and Sutara even brings some of her legendary singing talent to the role.
Sutara can be seen in the two-part 'Brothers Keeper' episodes, as well as in 'Matters of Life and Death', the penultimate episode of the series. The episodes were broadcast on BBC One in late September/early October, and are available on BBC iPlayer now.
