Inhibition Exhibition is Tadiwa Mahlunge's first solo show at the Edinburgh Festival and is being heaped with praise by audiences and critics alike. He has also just been long-listed for the Edinburgh Comedy Awards Best Newcomer title.
Even before the Festival started the show was being billed as one to watch after being nominated for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival. It was also chosen by both The Sun and The Skinny as one of the top shows to see at this year's Festival.
The show has been given 4 stars by The Skinny, calling it "an impressively accomplished and infectiously funny debut hour, Tadiwa Mahlunge is a name you’ll want to watch out for." Both The Scotsman and Fest Magazine also give him 4 stars with The Scotsman calling him "the complete, fully rounded package" and Fest saying "he’s remarkably confident, with a set as smooth as his shiny silk shirt".
Both The Guardian and Skiddle gave him 3 stars and pinpoint him as a name to look out for. "An impressive newcomer now, Mahlunge looks as though he’ll be on the standup stage for keeps" - The Guardian. "One of those names you and your family are laughing along to on the telly.
