Simon Stone's modern take on the classic Greek tragedy 'Phaedra' is now available to watch on National Theatre at Home.
The "must-see" play ran earlier this year at the National Theatre, starring Janet McTeer in the title role as a charismatic politiician who falls for the younger son of her (now dead) former lover. Paul Chahidi stars opposite her as her diplomat husband Hugo, described by The Times as a "despairingly decent" man.
The play received rave reviews with The Observer (★★★★★) calling it "pitch perfect" and The Independent (★★★★) declaring it a “sparky, hilarious and lightning-quick” play. Likewise The Evening Standard, (★★★★), declares it “gob-smackingly audacious” and “a must-see”. Whilst The Times (★★★★) writes that it is “stunningly sharp" and a “hugely entertaining evening”.
Paul Chahidi is available for voiceovers from Anthea Represents. Click his image for his profile page and voiceover showreel.
