The Nick Helm voiced series ‘Reel Britannia’ has been nominated for Best Specialist Factual Programme at this year’s Broadcast Digital Awards.

'Reel Britannia', which tells the story of British cinema, has been nominated for Best Specialist Factual Programme at this year’s Broadcast Digital Awards. 

Nick Helm narrates the 4-part series which is available to stream now on Britbox and is coming to ITVX in August.

It looks at the masterpieces of British cinema including the James Bond and Carry On films as well as classics such as Whistle Down the Wind.  The series is written and directed by Jon Spira and is made in association with the BFI.  It includes interviews with some of Britain's greatest ever film-makers including Ken Loach, Mike Leigh and Terry Gillam.

The show has been shown worldwide in territories including the USA, Spain, Australia, the Middle East, North Africa and the Netherlands. 

The Broadcast Digital Awards will take place on 5th July at The Brewery, London. See the full list of nominees.
