The first trailer for Netflix's highly anticipated superhero series 'Supacell', written and directed by rapper turned filmmaker Rapman, has just been released.
The 6-part series follows 5 ordinary Black South Londoners who develop superpowers. Tosin Cole stars as Michael Lasaki who is tasked with bringing them all together to save the woman he loves. The series is set to premiere in June 2024, although no exact date has been announced yet.
The series also stars Adelayo Adedayo as Michael's fiancé Dionne and Eddie Marsan as Ray.
Rapman is known for directing the award-winning film 'Blue Story' which starred Micheal Ward.
