World premiere of Ear for Eye starring Tosin Cole takes place at The 65th BFI London Film Festival this weekend.

Ear for Eye is the second feature film from BAFTA and Olivier Award-winning writer and director Debbie Tucker Green.  The film is produced by the BBC and follows black families, friends, students and older generations navigating British and American society today.

Doctor Who star Tosin stars alongside No Time to Die star Lashana Lynch.

The film will premiere on Saturday at the BFI Southbank, alongside an exclusive showing on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer that evening. There is also an additional sold-out screening at the Curzon Soho on Sunday.  The film is a screen adaptation of the acclaimed 2018 Royal Court stage production in which Tosin also starred. The premiere will be attended by the director and cast members.

Tricia Tuttle, BFI London Film Festival Director says "Debbie’s writing is so powerful - lyrical, complex, urgent- and this adaptation of her own work is a wonderful blend of theatre, performance and film, brought to life by a truly talented cast."
