Beck Laursen

Jeppe Beck Laursen is a Norwegian actor who is best known for his portrayal of the Danish warrior Hæsten in Netflix’s ‘The Last Kingdom’.  He starred in Series 2-5 of the Anglo-Saxon drama series which ran from 2017-2022 and was based on the novels by Bernard Cornwell. 

He is well known in his native Norway for appearing in many Norwegian TV shows and films including most recently ‘Beforeigners’ which was HBO Nordic’s first original series from Norway, TV mini-series ‘Rekyl’ about a gang of criminals from Oslo and Norwegian soap ‘Hotel Caesar’ which was Scandinavia’s longest running soap opera.

He appeared as Tracker William in Paramount Picture’s fantasy action horror film ‘Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters’ which starred Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton. 

He has animation experience and voiced the role of leading character Maui in the Norwegian version of Disney's 'Moana'.  He also regularly voices the part of Goggen in the Norwegian children’s animation series ‘Little Grey Fergie’.  He also has video game experience, voicing the parts of Halfdan and Thor in the BAFTA nominated video game ‘Assassins Creed Valhalla’. 

Jeppe has a native Norwegian accent and can turn his hand to most Scandinavian dialects and accents. His natural English speaking accent has both Norwegian and American influences since learning English in Denmark. He can switch to an English accent very easily showing hints of his native Norway. His American accent is also excellent.
