Mimî M. Khayisa is best known for playing Fringilla Vigo in Netflix’s ‘The Witcher, starring opposite Henry Cavill  in all 3 seasons of the show, the most recent of which was shown in 2023. 

On graduating from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, she won the prestigious Spotlight Prize, awarded annually to an exceptional graduate chosen from a list of nominees from drama schools across the country.  Previous alumni of the prize include Ben Whishaw, Jodie Whittaker, Judi Dench and Jim Broadbent.  Following her win, she was featured as One to Watch by The Independent and was on the Evening Standard’s Stars of 2015 list. 

She had a featured role in the 2022 Amazon Original film ‘Catherine Called Birdy’. The comedy, written and directed by Lena Denham, starred Bella Ramsey as a 14 year-old girl in medieval times.  It also starred Billie Piper and Andrew Scott. 

Other major TV roles include playing Tilly Brockless in the final season of ITV’s ‘Mr Selfridge’ and DC Andrea Read in the BBC crime drama ‘Rellik’. Other credits include the Christmas special of Sky One’s ‘In the Long Run’ which starred Idris Elba, the BBC/Netflix co-production ‘Black Earth Rising’ and playing the part of Abby in the ‘Doctor Who’ episode ‘Oxygen’ during its tenth season. 

She has also appeared in a number of feature films including ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ (2019), ‘The Legend of Tarzan’ (2016) and ‘Cinderella’ (2015), which starred Lily James and Cate Blanchett.

She has a great love of theatre and has starred in a number of productions for the RSC, including playing Cordelia in ‘King Lear’, Ophelia in ‘Hamlet’ and Tiger Lily in ‘Wendy and Peter Pan’. She also toured to North America with the RSC in 2018 in her roles as Cordelia and Ophelia. 

In 2017 she played the lead role of Jekesai/Ester in Danai Gurira's The Convert at the Gate Theatre in London. The play itself and her part in it received critical acclaim, with four and five star reviews from some of the most respected critics in London, culminating in her winning an 'Offie' (Off West End Theatre Award) for her performance. 

She also narrated the 2022 documentary series ‘Earthstorm’ for Netflix.
