Wilderness is a brand new Amazon Prime thriller about dysfunctional couple Liv and Ben who embark on an American road-trip to mend their fractured relationship after Will revealed he had an affair.
The 6-part series stars Jenna Coleman and Oliver Jackson-Cohen in the lead roles. The trip of a lifetime quickly becomes the stuff of nightmares as Liv has a secret agenda, seeing the trip as the perfect chance to exact her revenge without leaving a trace.
Claire Rushbrook stars as Caryl, Liv's needy mother, who disapproves of the marriage and frequently meddles in their lives.
The series is based on the book of the same name by author B.E. Jones.
The Guardian calls the series "fun, fun, fun" and a "twisty treat of a series", singling out Claire's performance saying, "the pitch-perfect passive-aggression of Caryl towards her daughter is a joy to behold", whilst the Radio Times says it "very much ticks all the boxes you want of a revenge thriller."
