The Stephen Spielberg, Tom Hanks produced World War II epic 'Masters of the Air' finally has a release date. It will premiere on Apple TV+ on Friday 26th January 2024.
The 9-part series, which is based on the true story of an American bomber group in World War II, stars Callum Turner as one of leads, Major John 'Bucky' Egan. His character is based on a real-life war hero who was the epitome of a devil-may-care wartime bomber pilot. He stars alongside Austin Butler.
The show, which is based on the book by Donald L. Miller, follows the actions of the 100th Bombardment Group of the United States Army Air Forces during World War II.
The highly anticipated show has a stellar cast which also includes Freddy Carter as Lt. David Friedkin, Stephen Campbell Moore as Major Marvin "Red" Bowman, Edward Ashley as Lt. Col. John B. Kidd and James Frecheville as Major William W. Veal.
