Claire Rushbrook stars in brand new 'Sky Peals, the debut film from British-Pakistani director Moin Hussain which is released in selected cinemas across the UK today, Friday 9th August.
It tells the story of Adam, a young neuro-diverse British Pakistani man, who is struggling with feelings of isolation and alienation from society around him. Claire stars as his mother, Donna who has sold the family home so she can move in with her new partner. But she struggles to persuade Adam to move out, a situation exacerbated when he gets a phone call telling him his father has suddenly died.
The film had its worldwide premiere last year at the Venice Film Festival, and made its UK premiere at the BFI London Film Festival last October.
