HBO have announced a brand new Game of Thrones prequel, 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight', which is due to be released in 2025.
Edward Ashley will have a featured role in the 6-part series, playing Ser Steffon Fossoway, a knight of House Fossoway of Cider Hall.
The series is set to be the third television series in George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire franchise and follows the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk) and a young Aegon V Targaryen, nicknamed Egg. It is set a century before Game of Thrones and sees Dunk, and his squire, Egg wander through Westeros, while the Targaryen dynasty ruled the Iron Throne.
Peter Claffey will play Dunk with Dexter Sol Ansell as Egg.
Production is underway in Northern Ireland.
