Everyone's favourite crime-solving nun is back on UK screens tonight with the return of 'The Sister Boniface Mysteries'. The 3rd series premieres on UKTV Drama at 9pm tonight with a new episode following weekly. However if you can't wait that long, all 8 episodes are also available now to stream on UKTV Play.
The series sees Jerry Iwu back as Detective Sergeant Felix Livingstone who is part of the Great Slaughter police force whom Sister Boniface works with to solve crimes.
Manpreet Bambra also has a guest starring role, appearing in Episode 1 as charming young actress Phoebe Volante, who is auditioning to be the next Bond girl. She has a little secret she’s keeping and is determined to get what she wants.
The official synopsis reveals that "In Season 3, a famous organist is murdered mid-tune in the chapel, Great Slaughter’s first sci-fi convention results in a mysterious kidnapping, and a ‘dead cert’ at the screen tests for the new ‘Agent Best’ ends up, well … dead."
Jerry's character Felix also has a major storyline, "To top it all, Felix has a challenge of his own when his fiancée Victoria arrives from Bermuda with an ultimatum that could change everything".
