Irish actor Jerry Iwu has appeared in a number of high profile TV series, including a major guest role as Oba in series three of Netflix’s award winning comedy series ‘Sex Education’ in 2021.

He stars in the BritBox/UKTV comedy drama and Father Brown spinoff ‘The Sister Boniface Mysteries’ playing high-flying Bermudian Detective Sergeant Felix Livingstone who was supposed to be on secondment to the Metropolitan Police but arrives in the Cotswold village of Great Slaughter instead due to a clerical error.  The show is hugely popular in the US and the UK, especially the annual Christmas Specials.  A fourth series is due out in 2025.

In 2021 he had roles in Series Two of ITV’s crime drama ‘Innocent’ as well as Channel 5’s 4-part thriller ‘Intruder’.  He appeared in a major role in the hit Irish comedy film ‘Halal Daddy’ in 2017. 

Jerry’s native accent is Southern Irish and he is highly skilled in Nigerian, Jamaican and M.L.E. accents.
