Britbox's popular crime-solving nun Sister Boniface returns to our screens in series 3 of the Sister Boniface Mysteries. The new series premieres on Britbox in the USA tomorrow, Wednesday 24th April, but sadly won't hit UK screens until later this year.
Jerry Iwu returns as Detective Sergeant Felix Livingstone who is part of the Great Slaughter police force whom Sister Boniface works with to solve crimes.
The official synopsis reveals that "In Season 3, a famous organist is murdered mid-tune in the chapel, Great Slaughter’s first sci-fi convention results in a mysterious kidnapping, and a ‘dead cert’ at the screen tests for the new ‘Agent Best’ ends up, well … dead."
Jerry's character Felix also has a major storyline, "To top it all, Felix has a challenge of his own when his fiancée Victoria arrives from Bermuda with an ultimatum that could change everything".
Manpreet Bambra will also have a role in Series 3, joining as young actress Phoebe Volante, although no more has been revealed about her character yet.
Sister Boniface Mysteries series 3 will be shown on UKTV later this year.
