Jerry Iwu and Miranda Raison star in The Sister Boniface Mysteries which arrives on UK television tomorrow night

The 10-episode light-hearted murder mystery series is set in 1960s rural England and features a moped-riding, crime-solving nun.  The show is a spin-off of Father Brown.  Sister Boniface works alongside the local police force including Jerry Iwu's character, high-flying Bermudian Detective Sergeant Felix Livingstone who was supposed to be on secondment to the Metropolitan Police but arrives in the Cotswold village of Great Slaughter instead due to a clerical error.

Miranda Raison plays Ruth Penny, a hard-nosed investigative journalist and editor of the local newspaper 'The Albion Bugle'.

When interviewed about what attracted him to the show, Jerry Iwu said "It’s charming and endearing. I like shows like this that create a sense of community, because I come from a community like that in Ireland."

The series was previously only available in the US on Britbox but will premiere in the UK on the UKTV Drama Channel at 9pm tomorrow, Friday 11th March.

Irish actor Jerry Iwu and British actress Miranda Raison are both available for voiceovers from Anthea Represents.  Click on their images to see their profile pages and voiceover showreels.
