The new series of Emmy-nominated 19th Century martial arts drama series 'Warrior' starts on Sky Max at 10pm tonight, Friday 1st September. The show is also available to stream on NOW TV.
Warrior is based on the writings of Bruce Lee and is set in San Francisco in the late 19th century where we see rival Chinatown crime families (Tongs) pitted against each other, as well as the police and the overtly racist white working class.
Kieran Bew stars as Bill O'Hara, a corrupt and debt-ridden sergeant at the San Francisco police department and the Head of the Chinatown squad. Miranda Raison stars as Nellie Davenport, a wealthy widow who offers asylum to Chinese migrants, particularly prostitutes she rescues from brothels.
This is the third series of the hugely popular drama which was nominated for two Emmys in 2021, notably for its incredible stunts. The new series begins with Episode One titled 'Exactly the Wrong Time to Get Proud'. The show was previously only available to stream on Max (formerly HBO Max).
Kieran Bew and Miranda Raison are both available for voiceovers from Anthea Represents. Click their images for their profile pages and voiceover showreels.
