Apple TV's new must-see thriller 'Criminal Record' is released today and stars Stephen Campbell Moore as Leo Hanratty

Apple TV+'s highly anticipated new crime thriller series 'Criminal Record' is available to stream from today, Wednesday 10th January.

The 8-part drama stars Peter Capaldi as DCI Daniel Hegarty, a senior officer who led the investigation into the high profile murder of Adelaide Burrows and the conviction of her killer Errol Mathis.  However when the conviction is challenged by June Lenker, a junior police officer played by Cush Jumbo, he becomes determined to protect his own legacy.

What follows is a tug-of-war between Hegarty and Lenker, with the latter convinced that an innocent man may be locked up due to an old high-profile case being mishandled by the respected detective.  According to the synopsis, the series will thread a criminal mystery with "issues of race, institutional failure and the quest to find common ground in a polarised Britain".

Stephen Campbell Moore also stars as Leo Hanratty, June's therapist husband, who dismisses his wife's apprehensions about the case.

Janet Kumah also has a major role, playing Latisha, as does Steffan Cennydd who plays junior police officer DC Jed Stanning.

Watch the trailer and stream the first two episodes now.  Further episodes will be released every Wednesday.

Stephen Campbell Moore, Janet Kumah and Steffan Cennydd are all available for voiceovers from Anthea Represents.  Click their images for their profile pages and voiceover showreels.
